Chiedu Ebie is the founder of Millenium Oil & Gas Company Limited (MOGCL), one of around 30 companies indigenous to Nigeria to obtain licensure for the operation of a marginal oil field in the Niger Delta between 2003 and 2004. When he assumed full control of the company in 2010, Chiedu Ebie became the youngest CEO in the Nigerian marginal field operation sector. His company maintains a strong dedication to health, safety, and the environment and keeps these values at the heart of its business practices.
In addition to complying readily with legislation, MOGCL has made a further pledge to minimize harm to all personnel and other officials at its sites of operation and to create policies that protect against accidents to prevent property damage and loss of assets. Additionally, the company actively seeks to reduce the effects that its operations have on the environment. When considering business decisions, MOGCL always thinks about the interests of its neighbors and the surrounding environment.
Understanding that health, safety, and the environment are the responsibility of all employees, MOGCL ensures that all staff members, contractors, and partners are aware of policies and the roles that they must play.
