About Chiedu Ebie - Education Commissioner
With an established background in Nigerian law, Chiedu Ebie now serves as the commissioner of the Delta State Ministry of Education. He is formerly the managing director and CEO of Millenium Oil and Gas Company, Ltd. (MOGCL). Chiedu Ebie joined the company at inception in 2002 and began dedicating his efforts full time in 2009, after resigning from legal practice. In addition to his leadership role with the company, he served as a member of the Marginal Field Operator Group of Nigeria, a group comprised of national senior executives throughout the nation.
An accomplished professional with varied interests, he spent 10 years helping Thisday Newspapers grow into a reputable publication. The publishing company now enjoys success producing one of the leading newspapers in Nigeria.
Chiedu Ebie received his bachelor of law from the University of Benin and completed his certificate of call to the Nigerian bar at the Nigerian Law School. In addition to his university training, he attended the nation’s Air Force Military School in Jos, Plateau State.
